This cottage has a large open, cozy living room with a nice gas log fireplace and lots of windows that allows you to enjoy the lovely scenery that Tahoe offers and a peek of Lake Tahoe itself. The kitchen has modernized granite countertops, open to the great room and has the latest high-end appliances. The bedroom has a very comfortable King bed for a great night sleep after a long day at the beach in the sun or a long day skiing on the mountain.

From this North Shore location you are very conveniently located just one block from Lake Forest Beach and a short walk away from Skylandia Beach and Park. Take a nice bike ride, just under 2 miles, on a paved path to Tahoe City to find lots of fun shops and great dining. There are also three large resorts just a short drive away, approximately 10-15 miles. These resorts offer an abundance of fun winter and summer activities. If Nordic skiing and snowshoeing interests you, Tahoe Cross Country Ski area is a very short three minute drive.

The cottage is part of an original Lake Tahoe Estate. You have access to Lake Tahoe along a public path. The main house on the estate is rented full time and we ask that you respect the resident’s privacy. There are two dogs that live at the main residence and who, along with the human residents of the main house, may be seen around the property during your stay. The maximum stay at the Cottage is 7 nights.

Location: 
In the winter months you may want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (14 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Palisades Tahoe (8-9 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches to soak up the sun or take a nice paddle on a kayak. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Old Post Office Coffee Shop or a hearty meal at Gar Woods Grill and Pier (5 miles). For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City (less than 5 miles) or travel 10 miles north to Crystal Bay in Nevada for cocktails and games of chance.

Parking: 
Parking is available for 1 car total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

* Renters must be 25+ 
* This is a non-smoking home. 
* Pets are not allowed at this home. 
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 2 adults.  Please note: This is may not be suitable for children.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.
